Charges have been laid after a local resident spotted a suspicious man wandering around their backyard in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Maple Street address after the resident reported a suspicious person on their property.
A suspect, who was also wanted on an outstanding warrant, was located in the area and arrested.
A 44-year-old Chatham man is now charged with trespassing at night. He was released from custody with a future court date on January 5.
