Provincial Police found more than they were expecting during a traffic stop on the 401.

Elgin OPP officers pulled over a westbound vehicle near Bloomfield Road Wednesday afternoon after radar detected the vehicle going more than 70 kilometres an hour over the posted speed limit.

The driver, a 19-year-old from Welland, has been charged with stunt driving, driving without a license, obstructing a peace officer, and 13 counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. The accused was also handed a 30 day license suspension and 14 day vehicle impoundment.

The passenger, a 20-year-old from Windsor, is charged with obstructing a peace offer and 13 counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
