Drivers should expect some traffic headaches in downtown Wallaceburg this week.
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent said James Street between Creek Street and Nelson Street will be closed on Wednesday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to allow for water service connection work.
A detour will be in place at Creek Street and will follow Wellington Street to Nelson Street, and back to James Street.
Local traffic will be permitted up to the closure but emergency vehicles will not have access through the work zone.
