Charges have been laid following a Wallaceburg break-in over the long weekend.
Around 7 o’clock Saturday morning, authorities say a Hudson Crescent resident spotted a man inside his garage, allegedly trying to steal his belongings.
The homeowner confronted the suspected thief and was attacked.
A 45-year-old man was arrested and has been charged with break and enter and assault.
