Police Looking For Vehicle Of Interest In Wallaceburg Shooting

Investigators have released video surveillance footage of a vehicle in connection to a shooting in Wallaceburg.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said through an investigation, the Major Crime Unit obtained the video which shows a “vehicle of interest”.

Police said on December 30, a 42-year-old Wallaceburg man was located after being shot in the area of Murray Street and Earl Street. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, however, police said he has since been discharged.

Authorities have not stated if any suspects have been identified in connection to the shooting, but investigators believe it was an isolated incident and there is no concern for public safety.
