A warning from provincial police about another scam making the rounds.

According to Essex OPP, a Tecumseh resident was defrauded of over $70,000 by investing in Crypto currency with an online Crypto currency brokerage.

Authorities say the victim has not been able to retrieve their money from the investments.

Because of the large amount of money involved, the Essex County Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.

Police are once again reminding residents to never give out any personal information, especially credit card or banking details, to someone they don’t know.
