A suspected drunk driver has been arrested.
Police responded to a traffic complaint on William Street in Merlin Wednesday afternoon, tracking down the suspect vehicle on Middle Line.
Believing the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol, officers brought the 21-year-old Blenheim man back to police headquarters for tests.
The accused has now been charged with having a blood alcohol level that exceeded the legal limit and driving with a suspended driver’s license.
