Tilbury Woman Charged With Forgery, Identify Fraud

A Tilbury woman arrested during a traffic stop is now facing forgery charges in connection to a fraud investigation.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said the woman was arrested on several outstanding warrants on Wednesday after police stopped her vehicle on Middle Line near Tilbury.

Police said she was also wanted by provincial police.

The 36-year-old accused is charged with two counts of possession of the stolen property, two counts of forgery, three counts of uttering forged documents, identity fraud, and failing to attend court. She was held pending a bail hearing.
