It’s been over a month since a shooting in Wallaceburg and Chatham-Kent police remain tight-lipped about the investigation.
A 42-year-old man was shot near Murray Street and Earl Street on the morning of December 30 and taken to hospital with serious injuries. He has since been discharged.
Authorities previously released a quick video clip of a truck identified as a “vehicle of interest” on January 6.
Public Information Officer Sgt. Lynette Hodder said police have no new information to release at this time.
“The investigation is ongoing, with continuous efforts to identify the suspects,” she said in an email to CKXS News.
Investigators have said the shooting is believed to have been an isolated incident and there is no concern for public safety.
