Arrest Made After Attempted Break-And-Enter In Wallaceburg

A Walpole Island man has been charged with break and enter after he was allegedly caught in the act.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a break-and-enter in progress at a business on Selkirk Street in Wallaceburg at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Officers arrived to find the accused on the property and a broken window at the business.

The 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with break and enter. He has since been released with conditions and a court date of March 6.
