Some messy weather is heading towards southwestern Ontario this week.
According to Environment Canada, a Colorado low has the potential to bring prolonged freezing rain from Sarnia to Niagara late Wednesday and into Thursday.
Officials with the weather office say the system may begin as snow or ice pellets before changing to freezing rain late Wednesday.
The system’s exact path and timing remains uncertain, but drivers are warned to take care with the potential for slippery roads and parking lots.
