Spring is approaching but don’t put away your snow shovels just yet.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of southwestern Ontario, including Chatham-Kent, warning of 10-15 cm of snowfall throughout the day on Friday.
The snow will likely impact the morning and evening commutes before tapering off early Friday evening.
The weather agency said there is some uncertainty with the track of the current system and snowfall amounts may change as Friday approaches.
Drivers should use caution as visibility may be reduced at times during heavy snowfall. Roads can also become icy and slippery.
