Environment Canada’s weather advisory remains in effect with the agency calling for as much as 10 to 15cm of accumulation through the day.
School buses are still running in Chatham-Kent and Lambton County.
However, drivers are urged to use caution and leave plenty of room for other vehicles around them.
The system is expected to move out of the area this evening.
