Smashing a glass door at the police station in Chatham has resulted in charges for a 28-year-old man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a man went to police headquarters on Third Street and began kicking the front door, causing the glass to break.
He fled the area but was arrested a short time later at his mother’s house after causing a disturbance.
The Chatham-Kent man is now charged with mischief. He has since been released with conditions and an April court date.
