An arrest has been made following a shoplifting incident in Chatham
According to Chatham-Kent Police, a man went into a Grand Avenue West business early Tuesday afternoon, removed some merchandise from the shelves, and left without paying.
After being given a description of the suspect, officers found the accused on Victoria Street.
The 38-year-old is charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
He was released from custody with conditions and a date in court in May.
