Municipal officials are encouraging local residents to help Chatham-Kent bloom.
In a partnership with the Glasshouse Nursery and Garden Centre, a new contest aims to recognize home and property owners for their efforts in creating beautiful spaces.
The Growing Together program is based on nominations from the public through the Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent website. Residents can pin a property or garden on an interactive map. The In Bloom Garden Finder map can also be used to go on a self-guided tour of beautiful spaces around the municipality.
Those nominated could win a Glasshouse gift card and receive a yard sign to display in their garden.
