A Bradford resident is facing several charges after being caught whipping along the 401 in Chatham-Kent.
Provincial Police recorded the vehicle near Merlin Road travelling at 182 kilometres an hour. The vehicle was stopped, but while the officer was verifying information, the driver sped off. The accused was tracked down at a nearby service centre and arrested.
The driver has since been charged with stunt driving, two counts of driving while suspended, and attempting to flee from police.
The 39-year-old was also issued a 30 day license suspension and their vehicle impounded for 14 days.
