Plans are coming together for the annual Chatham Sun Life Walk to Cure Diabetes.
Organized by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the event will be held at Kingston Park on June 4th, raising funds and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes research.
A number of special guests will be on hand with food and refreshments provided by the Chatham Optimist Club and Starbucks Chatham as a community sponsor. Opening remarks from Mayor Darrin Canniff and local woman Laura Sabourin will be followed by a Zumba warm-up, lead by Sarah Hale.
Registration is now open online. Participants can also sign up on-site on the day of the walk.
