A local teenager is in trouble with police after an argument turned violent in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were contacted at around 10:20 a.m. on Monday after a youth was assaulted on Centre Street.
Authorities said two youths had been arguing when things became physical.
As a result, a 16-year-old girl from Chatham-Kent is now charged with assault. She was taken to police headquarters and released with a July court date.
