Police were forced to get involved in a neighbour dispute in Chatham this week after a vehicle windshield was smashed with a baseball bat.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. amid an ongoing dispute between neighbours on Raleigh Street.
Authorities said the victim was driving away from her home when a woman threw a baseball bat at the victim’s vehicle, damaging the windshield.
As a result, a 36-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and is now charged with mischief. She has since been released with conditions and a date in court next month.
