A special meeting is being held in Dresden tonight to discuss the municipality’s plans to create a large mural in town.

Mayor Darrin Canniff announced last month that in partnership with the Mall and Grail families, a mural would be installed at 348 St George Street, with suggestions for the design being accepted online.

However, a number of community members are concerned the online survey leaves out many local voicers, including seniors, teens, disadvantaged residents, and others who don’t regularly use the internet.

A public meeting is being held at Christ Church Hall tonight starting at 7 o’clock to discuss what content and images local residents might like to see portrayed on the building, as well as any potential challenges or concerns.
