$64K in Drugs Seized in Leamington

A major bust in Leamington has turned up over $64,000 in drugs.

Provincial Police from Leamington, Essex, and Lambton County descended on a pair of homes on Cambridge Crescent and Sherman Street on Thursday, June 15, seizing suspected fentanyl and cocaine, along with Canadian currency, a semi-automatic handgun, an oversized prohibited magazine, and ammunition.

Three people were arrested. Two Leamington residents and a person from Hamilton are facing a slew of charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and various weapons offences.
