Being an uninvited guest has led to charges for a local man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called about an unwanted person at a Bedford Street residence in Chatham at around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
When the man was located in the driveway, he provided officers with a fake name. Once officers discovered his correct identity, he was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
Following a search officers also discovered suspected fentanyl.
A 40-year-old Chatham-Kent man is now charged with obstructing the police and possession of a controlled substance.
