A Chatham-Kent man is in trouble with police after allegedly stealing tools from a local store.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, a man removed two drills from a shelf at a business on Pioneer Line in Chatham and left without paying.
Officers responded to the scene and later located a suspect on St. Clair Street.
As a result, a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged with theft and possession of stolen property. He has been released from custody with conditions and a future court date.
