Drunk driving charges have been laid following a complaint from a concerned citizen.
Police received a call about a vehicle driving erratically on Queens Line heading towards Chatham Thursday afternoon, with the witness continuing to provide updates until officers arrived on scene.
A 37-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where investigators say he had more than four times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
The accused is charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over 80 and operation while impaired by alcohol or drugs. He’ll have to face the charges in court later this month.
