Police are looking to the public for information following a serious assault in Wallaceburg.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a 32-year-old man was assaulted at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday in the 600-block of Duke Street.

While authorities have provided little information about the incident, they said the victim suffered a “significant injury” and was taken to hospital.
