Those interested in learning more about plans for restoring parts of the St. Clair River are being invited to an upcoming information meeting.

The St. Clair River Canadian Remedial Action Plan Implementation Committee is hosting the “Honouring the St. Clair River” informative evening on September 28 in Sombra to provide an update to the community on efforts to restore the St. Clair River Area of Concern.

The evening at Bogey’s Inn & Venue at 2845 St. Clair Parkway will also feature a guest speaker from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada who will provide information on invasive species in the Great Lakes.

A light dinner consisting of sandwiches/wraps, salad, and refreshments will be provided, as well.

While the meeting is free to attend, registration is required by September 18 due to capacity limitations.
