A tragic collision in Tilbury has claimed a life.
Emergency crews responded to Mill Street East around 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon.
Investigators say a motorcycle with two occupants struck a boat trailer being pulled by a pick-up truck as the vehicle turned onto Tilbury Street.
Both occupants of the motorcycle were taken to hospital. The driver suffered minor injuries, but a 70-year-old female passenger was pronounced dead in hospital.
Out of respect for the victim’s family, no names are being released at this point.
