Provincial Police continue to investigate following a multi-vehicle collision on the 402 that claimed two lives.
Emergency crews responded to the highway near Modeland Road in Sarnia shortly before 2 o’clock Monday afternoon.
Authorities say the driver and passenger of one vehicle were pronounced deceased at the scene. Another person suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
The westbound lanes of the highway were closed for close to 11 hours as a result.
Lambton County OPP are now looking to speak with anyone with dashcam footage of the area during the collision.
