Chatham-Kent’s library will be under new leadership beginning next month.

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent and the library board have announced the hiring of Heidi Wyma as CEO and Chief Librarian of the Chatham-Kent Public Library.

She will replace Tania Sharpe who is retiring after 30 years of service at the library.

Wyma, who grew up in Chatham-Kent, began her career with the municipality in August 2009 and is currently the manager of support services at the library. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Western University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Ottawa.
