First Ever Holiday 50/50 To Support CKHA

A 50/50 draw in support of Chatham-Kent’s hospital is being held for the first time during the holiday season.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF) has launched its first-ever Igniting Healthcare Holiday 50/50 Fundraiser, with proceeds going to “the areas of greatest need” at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

The four-week fundraiser will begin on Thursday and run until December 21 when the grand prize winner will be drawn.

Early Bird Draws will also be held every Thursday throughout the campaign, with winners receiving prizes donated by local businesses. Anyone who purchases a ticket before 1 p.m. on the day of the draw will automatically be entered into the Early Bird Draws. Early Bird prize winners will still be eligible to win the grand prize jackpot.

The foundation’s last Igniting Healthcare 50/50 FUNdraiser launched in the spring raised a grand total of $282,580, with Chatham businesses owner John Schinkel taking home the grand prize of $141,290.

Tickets for the holiday 50/50 draw can be purchased at the CKHAF office or online by clicking here.
