Impaired driving charges have been laid in Chatham.
A driver was stopped at a RIDE program on Saturday and was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.
The accused was taken to police headquarters for further tests and found to have 1.5 times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
The accused is now charged with driving while impaired and released with a date in court next month.
Chatham-Kent Police are reminding all drivers that being caught under the influence could result in your vehicle being impounded and an automatic license suspension.
