Police are continuing to investigate a weekend crash on Highway 401 in Dutton-Dunwich that sent four people to hospital.
The Ontario Provincial Police said a transport truck collided with a disabled passenger vehicle in the eastbound lanes of the highway west of Iona Road, shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday.
Two occupants in the passenger vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while another suffered life-threatening injuries. All three were taken to hospital.
The driver and lone occupant of the transport truck was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A section of the eastbound 401 was closed while officers conducted an investigation. The road has since been reopened.
The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
