The watchful eye of a Chatham-Kent Police officer has landed a teen with charges.
Early Sunday morning, an officer on general patrol saw a vehicle drive through a red light on Grand Avenue West. The driver was pulled over, and police suspected the man had been drinking.
The 19-year-old from Fingal, just west of St Thomas, was taken to police headquarters for breath tests, and has since been charged with having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was released with a date in court later this month.
