An outreach organization in Chatham-Kent has launched a new fundraiser in support of those experiencing homelessness in the community.
R.O.C.K. Missions is inviting the community to purchase tickets for its “Winter is Coming” 50/50 Raffle, which provides everyone the chance to win a cash prize while also supporting an important cause.
The funds raised through the 50/50 raffle will go towards the ongoing operating costs of R.O.C.K., its outreach programs, drop-in centres, and more.
The winner will be drawn on January 31 at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here.
R.O.C.K. Missions serves 300 people experiencing homelessness in Chatham each week and another 120 people in Wallaceburg. The organization also sees roughly 20-40 people each day at its Wallaceburg drop-in centre and 15-30 at the Chatham drop-in location.
