Chatham-Kent is getting a new mobile stage that will be used for municipal and community events.

Council will look to approve a by-law at their meeting tonight, which will establish fees for the stage rental.

The stage, which is sponsored by Mainstreet Credit Union, has two user fees proposed, one for non-profits and another for private and for-profit events.

The stage will make its planned public debut on April 9 to introduce the asset to special event organizers, media, and community stakeholders.
