Charges have been laid following a single-vehicle collision on Walpole Island First Nation.
Officers with the Walpole Island Police Service responded to Brother Road around 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon and say the driver was showing signs of impairment.
The 41-year-old was arrested and taken the Lambton OPP detachment for tests.
The Walpole Island man has now been charged with driving while impaired and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
He was released with a future court date in Sarnia.
