A special gift from a group of philanthropic women in Chatham-Kent.
The 100+ Women Who Care Chatham-Kent recently donated $11,575 to Hope House and the Mental Health Network of Chatham-Kent.
Officials with the Mental Health Network say the generous donation means the agency can continue their mission to provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals to connect, share experiences, and receive the support they need.
Members of 100 Women Who Care Chatham-Kent meet four times each year to vote on which charitable organization they would like to donate to next. Each member contributes $100 to donation.
Since its inception in 2016, the organization has donated 342,450 to local community groups and non-profit organizations.
