Lambton-Kent-Middlesex Voters Head to the Polls

After six months without representation at Queen’s Park, residents in the riding of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex will select their new MPP today.

The post has been vacant since former MPP Monte McNaughton stepped down in October to take a job in the private sector.

There are eight candidates in the running, including Steve Pinsonneault for the PC Party, Liberal Cathy Burghardt-Jesson, NDP representative Kathryn Shailer, Green Party candidate Andraena Tilgner, Stephen Campbell with the None of the Above Direct Democracy Party, Cynthia Workman representing the Ontario Party, and Hilda Walton for the Family Rights Party.

Voting in the provincial by-election begins at 9 o’clock this morning with polls closing at 9 this evening.
