2023 Chatham-Kent Senior of the Year, Mary Williston with Chatham-Kent Mayor Darrin Canniff.

The finalists have been announced for this year’s Chatham-Kent Senior Achievement Awards.

The Awards recognize and honour older adults over the age of 60 who have achieved significant goals and have been outstanding volunteers within the municipality.

In all, 30 individuals and three couples have been selected as finalists.

The Celebration of Older Adults will be broadcast live on YourTV, the Municipal Facebook page, and the Municipal YouTube channel at 10am on June 6, recognizing all of the nominees and announcing the 2024 Senor of the Year.

Since its inception, the Senior Achievement Awards have honoured more than 1,000 residents for their contributions to the community.
