Officials with the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance are laying the groundwork for a transition of authority.

As it prepares for the retirement of President and CEO Lori Marshall later this month, the organization has named Aaron Ryan as interim CEO.

Ryan, who currently serves as the hospital’s Vice President of Performance and Chief Financial Officer, will assume the interim role on June 24th.

In his current role, Ryan is responsible for the leadership and direction of Finance, Procurement, Decision Support, Planning, Capital Planning, Health Records, Facilities and Support Services, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory Services, and Pharmacy. In addition, with the movement towards Ontario Health Teams, he is responsible for working with other organizations and stakeholders to establish and sustain partnership opportunities.

In the meantime, Ryan will continue to carry out his responsibilities as CFO, and the CKHA Board of Directors continues to work with executive search firm Miram Beckers to find a permanent CEO.

Marshall’s final day at CKHA will be June 30th.
