Third Arrrest Made in Chatham Murder Case

More than three weeks after a woman’s body was found in Chatham, local police have released details about the ongoing investigation.

Authorities say the body of 27-year-old Louise Thompson of Milton was found in a William Street South property on June 4.

Two Chatham men, 44-year-old Jeffrey Davis and 59-year-old David Lozon, were arrested and charged with first degree murder and indignity to a dead body. Both remain in custody.

On Wednesday, June 26, a 23-year-old woman, Sky-Linn Holden of no fixed address, was arrested in Windsor and is now facing the same charges. She has since been transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Authorities say this is considered an isolated incident and believe there is no threat to public safety.

Investigators continue to work on identifying all persons involved in this targeted incident. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact Sergeant Cole Abbott at 519-436-6600 X80262 or colea@chatham-kent.ca, or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477.)
