A local company supporting Chatham-Kent-based businesses is expanding its reach.
LUVLOCAL is a platform that helps local businesses get set up with a website including full e-commerce capabilities, provides delivery logistics to get products to doorsteps, and provides communications support.
Now, the organization is allowing local entrepreneurs and creators to reach a wider market, allowing Non-perishable products to be delivered across Ontario, and perishables within 100 kilometres.
Co-founder Morena McDonald says the move helps local businesses grow, without additional stress.
“From the day this idea was born, we’ve always dreamt of opening new markets for local products to be sold, and over the past two weeks we’ve made that a reality with our first deliveries to Windsor-Essex. Being able to facilitate these kinds of growth opportunities for Chatham-Kent businesses is an incredible feeling after so much hard work in collaboration with our vendors.”
Luvlocal launched in the fall of 2023 and now supports almost two dozen Chatham-Kent based artisans and producers.
