If you have an idea for a tourism draw in Chatham-Kent, the municipality wants to hear from you.
The Spark Program is off and running for a second year.
This program sees applicants put forth their ideas to enhance tourism with the top three receiving the help of a mentor and $3,000 dollars in funding.
The plan is to encourage new ideas to increase tourism.
They are pushing ideas that focus on Agri-Culinary, the war of 1812, small towns and villages.
Also ideas that celebrate diversity and build future resilience.
Applications are due by March 5th, and after a review process the finalists will be invited to make a pitch to the committee.
The three top ideas will be chosen.
