Something wicked this way comes, in support of women in need in Chatham-Kent.
“A Witch’s Walk” is being held this Saturday, October 17th. Registration begins at 3 o’clock at Mrs. Bell’s Tea Room, where participants can drop off monetary donations or personal hygiene items.
Community members are invited to dress up as witches or warlocks and walk through downtown Chatham.
The walk will make its way from Mrs. Bell’s to the Art & Heirloom Shoppe on King Street West, before wrapping up at Turns and Tales for refreshments and costume judging. Judges from the Women’s Centre will award a grand prize package valued at $200.
The walk then makes its way back to Mrs. Bell’s Tea Room at 5pm.
All proceeds will support the Chatham-Kent Women’s Centre.
