An arrest has been made in connection to a theft in Chatham.
Police were called to a Richmond Street business Thursday morning and say the accused was seen on surveillance footage removing a pair of boxes that had been delivered just minutes before.
Authorities recognized the suspect from previous interactions and tracked him down a few hours later walking on Richmond Street, allegedly carrying the stolen items.
The 38-year-old is charged with two counts each of theft and possession of stolen property.
The items were later returned to their rightful owner.
