Video surveillance footage is getting the credit for helping police track down a pair of suspected thieves.
Earlier this week, officers were called about a theft from the LCBO on Wellington Street in Chatham. Police were able to identify a suspect, and yesterday a 29-yer-old man was taken into custody, charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
Meantime, police have arrested a woman accused of stealing from the Shell gas station on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg back on June 28th. The 29-year-old was tracked down yesterday morning and charged with theft, possession of property, and some outstanding warrants.
