Active COVID Cases Back Down To 36

One day up, the next day back down – Chatham-Kent’s active COVID caseload has slipped back down to 36. Public Health is reporting 3 new cases and 4 resolutions today.

There are two ongoing workplace outbreaks, although the health unit has not released any identifying information.

The number of variants of concern and related mutations discovered in Chatham-Kent has risen to 161.

Numbers from the Ministry of Health today have 3887 new infections province-wide, 21 deaths linked to COVID, and 883 patients being treated for the virus in intensive care units across Ontario.
