Active COVID Cases Increase to 19

More COVID cases are cropping up in Chatham-Kent.

Public Health is reporting four new cases today, raising the number of active infections to 19.

An outbreak connected to Community Living is holding steady at three confirmed cases. The organization says a job coach and two participants in the Summer Program, along with several others, are self-isolating, and the program remains closed down until given the go-ahead from Public Health to resume operations.

The provincial numbers are on the rise, up to 226 new cases today and another 11 deaths linked to the virus.
