Affordable bus passes may soon be available for CK Transit. 
Council is being asked to approve 200 affordable monthly bus passes.
An application will be needed for the $40 monthly pass, and eligibility is based on annual household income. These applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Census data from 2011 shows that 17.5% of Chatham-Kent residents live at or below the low income cut-off.
Council will vote on the Affordable Bus Pass Program tonight.
